The dissertation's title was based on a diversity of some ten publications: Theoretical and Comparative Analysis of Decentralized and Democratic Decision Processes. The dissertation contained theories and empirical analysis on development and planning, focusing on Greenland in the post-war period of 1950-1988. Additional publications focused on the microeconomic theory of the labor-managed firm, conceptualization, and implementation of cooperative systems.
